In recognition of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the world’s largest celebration of entrepreneurs, innovators, and job creators, SPARK Libya and its partners will be holding Youth Entrepreneurship Day on November 20th in Benghazi at the Al Manara Palace.
The day will be split into two events; a debate on entrepreneurship and a business competition.
The debate will look at the pros and cons of entrepreneurship and highlight opportunities, implementation and implications for young people starting businesses. The business competition of the day, will divide participants into five groups and have them compete for the best business idea. Students will be trained on topics such as; marketings, product development, financial management and will be coached throughout the day by professionals and their peers.
The day will conclude with students pitching their business ideas in front of a jury of business professionals, a school director and a representative of the Ministry of Education.
