In cooperation with the University of Ségou, the Agence National Pour l’Emploi (ANPE) and the Centre Sociale, an organization that represents Internally Displaced Persons, the project will provide more than 160 participants with entrepreneurship training.
The course is made up of ten sessions, including;
On the 29th of March the course will be finalised with a business plan, the ten best plans will be selected and presented during the one-day Forum de Ségou. The winning plans will be rewarded a loan, guaranteed by SPARK, and local coaches are being linked to the entrepreneurs.
The opening ceremony will commence at 9:00am and include attendees such as, the governor, the mayor of Ségou, representatives of the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Youth and Ministry of Work will be present.
We are looking forward to the event and are confident that the Summer University for Entrepreneurship will be a significant contribution in fighting unemployment in Mali and more specifically in Ségou.
