Business Start-Up Centres (BSCs) from the Balkan region are participating at the 8th International Fair of Entrepreneurship called "Business Bases". The fair takes place in Belgrade, from 26 till 28 November. All the BSCs (Kragujevac, Zenica, Bar, Bitola) that were created within the framework of SPARK MFS project, will present their results at the Belgrade Fair. More than 20 companies that were supported through the BSC program will be present in addition to the BSCs. Companies, both start-ups and existing ones, will have an opportunity to show their products and services, and to network with other companies, stakeholders and potential clients.
The purpose of this international fair in Belgrade is to promote and to create a network of small- and medium-sized enterprises, Providing an opportunity to SMEs to connect with the big players in the market is also one of the fair's goals. This fair receives significant support from the state, as well as from foreign investors, banks and other financial institutions making it an attractive place for establishing new contacts.
In addition to the exhibition and promotion stands, several other activities take place. These activities include workshops, lectures and open discussions on different topics.
What makes this year's fair special for the BSCs is that this year's presentation stand of all BSCs and their companies is created by two young architects who won the BSC Kragujevac Business Plan Competition. Nikola Krivokuca and Mladen Budimir who decided to start up their own business, with support of BSC Kragujevac, will surely have a chance to set the tone for the fair.
