 Nikola Tancevski, 25 year-old IT expert from Bitola, has learned that nothing is impossible. He graduated from the Technical Faculty in Bitola with the average grade 10. Regardless of that it seemed to him like nobody was interested in using his potential in the higher education, so armed with courage and original ideas, he decided to open up his own business, "Ekstrim Labs", together with his friend Pece Angelkovski.
The company works in different fields – programming, web applications, 2D and 3D animations, advertising, marketing, company branding, design, printing preparation, application development for offline and online games. And now, thanks to the Business Start-Up Centre in Bitola, he can establish animation studio “Motion Uiverse” where they will shoot the first short animated movie in Bitola.
He registered to take part in the business-plan competition of BSC Bitola with business plan for opening an animation studio for film production and won the first place. As winner of the first place, he has had the possibility of getting a loan which will be used for buying equipment which should arrive from the USA in February 2010. His idea for short animated movie is now supported and financed by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia and by various co-producers from abroad. His current success and future ambition are truly a proof to the saying “if there’s a will, there’s a way”.
