 The 'Business Development Conference 2009: Entrepreneurship and Innovation' took place on 13 and 14 November in Zenica, BiH.
The Faculty of Economics at the University of Zenica, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Centre Zenica and Business Start-up Centre Zenica organised this international conference for the second time.
The conference aimed to discuss key development issues connected to small and medium enterprises (SME) from economic and technological perspective. In addition, attention was paid to regional cooperation and best practices in Western Balkan. This year's conference also aspired to take an academic look at key development-related problems found in the SME sector. The conference offered recommendations for their elimination, and for the establishment of regional cooperation and exchange of best practices in the Balkan area. These issues were looked at from economic, scientific and technological point of view.
Programme
The conference consisted of two parts:
- 13.11.2009. General part of the conference, open for all participants
- 14.11.2009. Academic part of the conference, reserved only for the authors of the works who registered for the event.
