An International Private Higher Vocational Business College will be established in Mitrovica in 2009 aiming to improve the dire economic prospects youth face.

The College will provide students with the necessary practical skills to become high-skilled professionals in local businesses. Diplomas will be awarded under a double degree system with a European partner institution. The college will offer 2-year vocational diplomas, with a possibility for a further 1-2 year top-up programme leading to a Bachelor degree. (Partial) scholarships will be available.
Study programmes
Courses will be offered in Business Studies and Public Administration. Special courses in Environmental Protection will be offered also. Study programmes strongly connect to the labour market and work towards full employment of graduates.
Its business graduates will be highly desirable employees for businesses and know how to do business with the EU and start their own firms. Public administration graduates gain advanced knowledge and skills in European governance. The study programme will focus on skills required in the labour market. A career centre assists students in finding internships and provides job-skills training. Students will be assisted to develop their own firm or expand an existing (family) business.
Transitional Year Programme
In order to get pupils and prospective students prepared for the high and competitive entry requirements in the college, we are organising a Transitional year Programme. This preparatory courseis available for students who wish to improve their English language, math, and presentation and learning skills before the beginning of the study programme.
