As part of the Bologna Process, SPARK monitors and evaluates the development of an internal Quality Assurance system at the University of Pristina (UP), Kosovo.
Background
Integration into the European Higher Education Area is of great importance for the University of Pristina, and meeting EU standards in higher education has become a central focal point in the University’s strategy. To meet these standards, improvements must be made in the teaching process and content of curricula, which are often outdated and need revision. In addition, teaching capacity must be updated in accordance with the content, as well as teaching methodology. Furthermore, teaching and learning resources must be improved, such as libraries, laboratories and internet facilities, and a central unit that provides the enhancement of quality standards at all levels should be established.
QA - University of Pristina
In general, the Quality Assurance project will ensure that these improvements are being made. It aims to improve the quality of higher education at the University of Pristina, enhance and strengthen ongoing reforms regarding the Bologna Process and increase and improve teaching facilities and resources at the UP. As a result, students will benefit from the improved quality of education.
