Currently we are recruiting a MFS research intern
SPARK is a young, dynamic development organisation with 40 staff members in offices and Business Start-up Centres in Amsterdam, Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. SPARK develops higher education and entrepreneurship, so that young ambitious people are empowered to lead their post-conflict society into prosperity. To achieve this, SPARK organises Summer Universities and supports young entrepreneurs to start-up their own business by means of business plan competitions, skills training and advice.
We are currently looking for an intern to do research on the new Medefinancieringsstelsel (MFS) from which SPARK receives most of its funding. The research will consist of analysing new opportunities for SPARK to cooperate with different partners and the possibilities of extending current activities to new countries. You will be based in Amsterdam and start as soon as possible. The internship will be full-time for a period of six months.

What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?
- Doing research on the new Medefinancieringsstelsel;
- Research on project partners in developing countries;
- General project support.
Requirements & assests:
- Good English and Dutch language skills;
- Good communication and social skills and able to work in a multicultural setting;
- Proven affinity with doing qualitative research;
- Interest in developmental cooperation;
- Good team worker while able to work independently;
- Currently enrolled at a University or Hogeschool in the Netherlands.

- Remuneration of 175 (0.5 fte) or 350 (1 fte) Euro/month (net);
