Nablus Summer Academy
The Nablus Summer Academy offers courses in the field of Public International Law, International Humanitarian Law and International Human Rights Law. The programme particularly aims to intensively train local and international (senior) students and young academic staff, thus stimulating regional cooperation and developing regional professional networks.
The courses are team-taught by one local & one international Professor (all Ph.D. holders). A selection of courses by experts from different cultural perspectives provide students with tools that they can use to work in the field. During the courses, interactive teaching methodologies are used, including work groups, guest talks, working on practical exercises, etc. In addition, public discussions, lectures, etc. are organised on relevant topics. Recreational events are additionally organised. This year's programme was represented by the Dean of the College of Law and is coordinated by the visiting Professor of Law, Professor Curtis Doebbler.
