SPARK in cooperation with the Birzet University is in the process of establishing a pre-incubator in
the Business and IT sector in Ramala, Palestine. This project is an expansion of the Private Sector Development projects SPARK has been running for several years in South Eastern Europe.



Background information

Each year, 1.600 students graduate from Palestinian Universities, but because of a serious lack of job opportunities, most of them remain underemployed. With this project, of which a pilot edition of 12-18 months is expected to take place next year, SPARK together with the Birzeit University aim to encourage students to practice their entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to utilise market potential and start a profitable business in the future.
