The Southeast European Network of Business Start-Up Centers and Incubators (SENSI), which was established in 2006 under the supervision of SPARK, is now striving to become a legal entity. SENSI is aimed at developing support for young and starting entrepeneurs in Southeast Europe and currently constists of 30 members.
The importance of the legal status of SENSI lies in the fact that this would enable the engagement in joint projects and applying for funding as an actual network. SENSI will come in close cooperation with its members and it will facilitate the development of the regional business start-up centers and incubators. Therefore, all necessary steps have been taken to register SENSI and it is expected that it becomes a legal entity in the near future.
During the Workshop and Assembly Meeting, that took place on 21 February 2009, new board members were elected and SENSI manager Aleksandra Obrenovic was presented. She holds a MSc. in Business Administration and has seven years of professional experience in the private sector.
