Nablus Summer Academy (NSA)
The first edition of the Nablus Summer Academy (NSA) will be held from 5 till 16 July 2009 at the An-Najah National University in Nablus, Palestine. The NSA particularly aims to train intensively local and international (senior) students and young academic staff. This Summer Academy provides an opportunity for international and regional students and professors to meet and exchange ideas. The Nablus Summer Academy will offer courses in the following fields:
- International Humanitarian Law
- Public International Law
- Human Rights Law

Liberia Summer University (LSU)
The first edition of the Liberia Summer University (LSU) will be held between 6-24 July 2009. The LSU is mainly focused on faculty development. It will provide an opportunity to teaching faculty (regardless their academic disciplines) from member universities of the Association of Liberian Universities and senior undergraduate students. The courses are intended to improve the following skills:
- Writing skills
- Research skills
- Computer skills, including internet and email
- Course planning, classroom management and evaluation and assessment methods
- Business plan development skills

Mitrovica Summer University (MSU formerly Mitrovica Summer Courses)
The MSU 2009 will be devoted to courses in the field of conflict studies and European integration courses.
Possible course topics are: Environmental protection, economy/entrepreneurship, peace building/conflict studies, comparative study of Balkan Countries and EU Integration, cultural heritage and web design.
International Pristina Summer University (PSU)
The 9th edition of the PSU is organised by the University of Pristina, only with limited assistance of SPARK. Around 15 visiting professors together with 15 local co-professors from the
University of
Pristina will provide an equal number of (ECTS-graded) summer courses in a variety of disciplines i.e. the Social Sciences, Law, Economics, Arts, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Physical Education, and others.
