rashed06.jpgEntrepreneur:            Reshid Morina
Product:                    Cows, Milk, Corn
Location:                   Dejn, Kosovo
Total investment:       € 8.500
Jobs created:             2 full time
Indirect jobs created: 10 seasonal workers
BSC support:              €5.000 loan; training;
                                100 hours consultancy

Reshid is taking over the farm of his father, which he transferred recently from a traditional small scale farm to a larger farm with 10 cows and 40 m2 land (the largest farm in the area has 15 cows). With the €5.000 loan of BSC Kosovo and a €3.000 loan of organization KRK he invested in his farm. He buys calves and grows them to the point they’re ready for sale to the butchery. The average profit per cow is €50.

Reshids future plan with Ferma Syla is to grow it into a farm with 50 cows. He needs more credit for that. The credit that BSCK offered was a good start for an agricultural business.
