13 winning entrepreneurs announced by business center Kragujevac |

 Today, February 12th, Business Start-up Centre Kragujevac announced the 13 winning entrepreneurs of the annual Business Plan Competition. These young entrepreneurs will receive assistance reaching from free consultancy up to 10.000 Euro loans to start their business.
BSC Kragujevac is 1 out of 5 BSCs initiated by SPARK in 2007 and aims to enhance entrepreneurship and reduce youth unemployment in Serbia.
ANNOUNCEMENT of the Business Plan Competition 2007 WINNERS
Business Plan Competition was organized by the Business Start-up Center Kragujevac in cooperation with partners – City of Kragujevac, University of Kragujevac, Regional Chamber of Commerce, Regional Agency for Economic Development and associations of entrepreneurs “Sloga” and Sumadija” during October – December 2007. Professional Jury headed by representatives from partner institution, selected the best business plans based on the following criteria and aspects of each business plan: personal/team quality of applicants and entrepreneurship approach; market potential of business idea; profitability and financial solvency as well as impact on local economic development. 
The best business plans will receive one (or a combination) of the following awards:
- Free registration of business
- Voucher amounting 2.500 EUR for a minimum of 100 hours of free consultancy and/coaching for the winners
- Micro credit amounting 10.000 EUR for business development
- Business space in the Business Innovation Center for the most innovative businesses – the winners of this award will be selected after the City of Kragujevac establish BIC and defines criteria for selection of businesses that will be placed in BIC
All awards will be awarded to winners in line with project rules and identified needs related to implementation of business plans.

Business Plan Competition, together with business skills trainings for youth on business management skills are part of four year project that aims to support sustainable economic development through partnership within the framework of “Establishment of Business Start-up Centers and Business Innovation Center in the municipality of Kragujevac 2007-2010” project. Project is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is implemented by Dutch NGO SPARK (formerly know as ATA) in partnership with City of Kragujevac, University of Kragujevac, Regional Chamber of Commerce, Regional Agency for Economic Development and associations of entrepreneurs “Sloga” and “Sumadija”.
