The university together with SPARK successfully completed the third edition of the MSC, which was organised from 12 until 26 July 2008. The courses given were in the field of international relations and conflict studies. Each course was co-taught by an international professor and a local co-professor. Additionally, for each course an assistant professor was appointed, leading workshops and homework classes in the afternoons. The courses were taught in English and for some courses translation to Serbian was provided.
Around 150 students participated and there was
no tuition fee. Books, readers, accommodation and food were provided free of
charge for local students from South East Europe and travel costs were remunerated. For International Students food and accommodation was provided
at a modest price (around 120-150 euros for the full 2 weeks). Besides an extensive academic programme, a broad offer of
exciting leisure activities was organized as well. There were parties,
excursions, public debates, field trips and more.
Students could choose out of 6 courses, each course compatible with 3 ECTS credits.
