Since 2007, SPARK has clearly distinguished between supervising and managing the organisation. A Supervisory Board (Raad van Toezicht) and a Board of Directors (Bestuur) are in place to help improve the level of transparency at SPARK, a criteria for Centraal Bureau Fondsenwerving and Code Wijffels. Both Boards have developed codes for good governance.
